Gina Loring has been a featured vocalist/songwriter on the Brand New Heavies album "We Won't Stop" and has been mentored by such artists as Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch, Suzan-Lori Parks and Marla Gibbs. In 2007, Gina went to Kuwait as a guest of the American Embassy’s cultural envoy program.. While there, she made several television appearances, performed her original poetry and music to packed crowds, and conducted poetry workshops. A native of Lawrence, Kansas, Dennis Shafer returned to Boston this year from Paris, where he studied with contemporary saxophonist Jean-Michel Goury and worked with several great composers and saxophonists.
Dennis toured with various composers across France and in the US, is the founder and co-founder of several groups including Sounds in Bloom. "HISTORIC PHOTOS OF PARIS": UNIQUE PARIS STORIES TOLD THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHS Historic Photos of Paris follows the people, places, and historic events that shaped the development of modern Paris in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Iconic landmarks, scenes of daily life, and unique and rare moments are presented in hundreds of historic photographs, revealing a rich portrait. Historic Photos of Paris, is published by Turner Publishing Company, which publishes a wide variety of photography and history books and Rebecca is their youngest author ever. In 2007, after spending a year in Paris, Rebecca Schall researched and wrote her second book, Historic Photos of Paris which highlights photos of Paris during the 19th and 20th centuries collected by Rebecca from her research in international archives. She is currently conducting research for her third book, Historic Photos of the San Francisco Presidio.

"JOSE PROMIS SINGER. MARIA D'ARCY STORYTELLER Jose Promis got his start playing in cabarets, restaurants and nightclubs in Los Angeles in the early part of this new century and eventually established a career for himself as an independent musician with three albums under his belt. Through the magic of the internet and Myspace, he found most his fans to be in Europe and was captivated by the charms the old world has to offer. This summer he quit his job in California, is in the process of relocating to Paris and has several shows lined up this summer. Notably, he will perform on 11 July at Le Canotier in Montmartre, a dream come true for Jose.
