Carol Porter
Graphic Designer And Fine Artist

Tommie McKenzie

Says Carol:

"After completing full-time employment at The Washington Post in 2008, I now combine all my experiences into other challenging positions, as an art director, graphic designer and painter. My goal is to continue working within media, cultural or educational organizations. Highly-skilled and dynamic, I’ve excelled at it all: print, commercial television, advertising and promotional design for the fine arts, individuals and non-profit organization.

As of 2016, I began working for the Smithsonian Institution's new museum. Called the National Museum of African American History and Culture, I assist the curators and program manager with guests who come for book talks, dramatizations, and collective dinner sessions.

Every year, I manage to take a trip overseas to paint and explore art and cultures of exotic places. Pure Joy!"

Address: At a trendy and fun new venue - a French bistro in the Marais -  just behind BHV. at the metro Hotel de Ville (ligne 1).

FUN AND REALLY GOOD FRENCH BISTRO FOOD. We'll confirm the exact address details with the reservation!

It's €25.00 (EXACT CHANGE - BILLS PLEASE) for a fun dinner. NEW FORMULA: Dinner is two courses and includes a glass or two of wine.
