Temple Will Share Many Moving Photographs With Us Of The Paris... "Je Ne Sais Pas Quoi"

From Temple:

Although Paris is a place, She is so much more. Paris is a compilation of small and large experiences that evoke a myriad of emotions: that first bite into a buttery croissant; sitting in a café sipping a glass of wine – watching the world go by; wandering down a narrow shadowed cobblestoned street that leads to a grand boulevard, filled with sunlight, lined with stately trees; sitting on a bench in an impossibly large salon, spellbound by a breathtakingly beautiful painting 6.5 feet tall, 42 feet long…"

There is...something about Paris. The French have a saying for this something: "Je ne sais quoi." This saying is fitting because it explains everything and nothing (wry grin). My photographs are the result of my meanderings through and around Paris. They're how I explain that 'indescribable something' in a language that I believe is most expressive - through light, shadow, color, movement, and emotion."

By day Temple is a history professor, at a small Midwestern Catholic University. By night she immerses herself in her 30 year-long love affair with Paris, France. Temple is the founder/owner/artist of Temple Designs – an online shop that features her Parisian inspired jewelry, art, & fine art photography; is a staff writer/photographer, and author of the bi-monthly column “Postcards from Paris,” for Belle Inspiration Magazine; and author’s the blog: "Pour l’Amour de Paris" (For the Love of Paris). Temple’s Paris photography is regularly featured in the annual France edition of Romantic Homes Magazine.

Temple Tsenes-Hills is an American Historian and author.
