PROMOTING YOURSELF AS AN ARTIST IN FRANCE
Tom Byrne and Maria de Morais will speak on how some artists collaborate to promote their work. Both artists will show and speak briefly about their work followed by questions from the group;
TOM BYRNE has been a painter for 20 years. In 2003 he left Ireland for France. He has studied and worked with various artists in Paris. Since arriving and over the last three years he has had exhibitions in New York, Dublin, London and Paris. Last April he had an exhibition with Banksy in NY and is currently exhibiting in London. MARIA DE MORAIS: For fifteen years, while studying art, at the Ateliers d'art plastique au Musée des Arts décoratifs, les Ateliers du Carrousel, Maria has been editing for lifestyle magazines such as Maison Coté Sud, and Elle Decor Italia, to name just two.She has enjoyed an international career as a writer and is now dedicating herself to professional painting. At this moment her works can be seen at Galerie Pixi, in Paris, and at Galerie Réjane Louin in Locquirec, Bretagne

(There’s Café Honoré on the right). That’s rue de Clery. Make a short left (30 seconds) onto rue de Clery and then immediately a right onto rue de Mulhouse.
