I want to say something.
I have been a regular, but never a Guest Speaker. Also, doing radio, I liked being behind the scenes. I would like to say his about my time as a GS. I not only enjoyed myself, but I enjoyed the people. New friends were made, many that I can tell will last.
To All of you that were there, can I say here that YOU made me not only a Guest Speaker, you made me A Special Guest Speaker. Your questions, our humor, and hey, glad you all liked the mussels; but I felt Special which is a fantastic feeling for someone that says in the closet of a studio and talks, not seeing faces. I look forward maybe in the future to do it again. To Patricia a huge thank you and you had me scared when you aksed. I couldn't sleep for days. Me, talk in front of a crowd ? WHo really cares what I did ? You and your guests did. What a great bunch of people. Whether there were French, American, Russian, Romanian, Japanese and a New Zealander around, the group is the best you will find anywhere. There are other Soirees around, but Patricia's brings all types of people together to make contacts and most important Friends. I thank Her and I thank All of you. Thanks
oh, and by the way . . . I will hold to those invitations to comeover and cruise on our houseboat as long as you let me cook !
Thanks All,
Jon
