IRé - Lead Singer and Songwriter
Charlie Dalin - Percussionist and Back Up Singer
IRé is from Bulgaria and her compositions are inspired by modern world music as well as by African, Brazilian, Indian, Oriental and Flamenco. She has also been influenced by Jazz,Pop, Folk and Soul. Most of her texts are written in Bulgarian but others are in English, French and her own imaginary language and speak of tolerance between people, the longing for home and the search for identity. Her songs also tell stories of love and the passion and folly of youth.
IRé met Charlie Dalin, a multi talented French percussionist here in Paris and since 2007 they done arrangements and recorded together. As a duo, Charlie and IRé have appeared in Parisian and Bulgarian venues, also on Bulgaria radio and national television. In 2009 IRé won the young talent prize at the Bardfest in Lovech, Bulgaria.
