Our Guest Of Honor
:

Peter Schlipf
Photographer

Peter loves traveling and capturing images of what he sees. This Sunday, he will share with us his impressions of Nepal.

From Peter:

“...As part of a sponsor tour visiting an Orphanage in Nepal, I was able to also capture images of everyday 21st century life there during a 2 week stay in Feb. 2013.

Ranging from daily religious rituals, people at work, pilgrims visiting holy Hindu and Buddist sites, street life in Kathmandu and out in the country on our way to the resort town of Pokara in the west.

I was able to portray people of various walks of life involved in living their lives and dealing with their environment the best they know how - 5 years after the end of a centuries long monarchy

Peter Schlipf, is a German based American Photographer who has been living in and travelling extensively around Europe since 1991. Peter is originally from the New York city area.
