"TAKING OFF INTO THE WILD BLUE YONDER. TRAVEL ADVENTURES AROUND THE WORLD"
Special Guest is Dr. Paulette Lagana: World Traveller. Environmental Activist. Telecommunications. College Professor.
Says Paulette:
"I created a single item bucket list at the age of 20: To travel around the world!
At the age of 67, I fulfilled that lifelong goal by planning & executing a 6-month trip around the world.
I traveled (for the most part) by myself and took advantage of additional bucket list opportunities along the way, including:
bungee
jumping, parasailing, swimming with dolphins, walking on a glacier in
New Zealand, visiting the Great Barrier Reef, riding an elephant in
Thailand, mask making in Florence, rode a Segway in Prague.
I
attended the opera at La Scala, visited (Sufi poet) Rumi's grave
in Turkey, and explored King Arthur's round table in Winchester,
England.
I
will share with you how I prepared myself for that trip, planned my own
itinerary, and took off into the wide blue yonder by myself with a
single plane ticket.
I'll give you a hint regarding the outcome:
