"A BLACK & WHITE AFFAIR" is a quatuor (string quartet) that features Tom McKenzie (leader, string basses), Helios Martinez (guitar), Thomas Kpade (cello) and Lucien Alfonso (violin).  Their repertoire includes a variety of styles; from Jazz to Pop to European classical musics.   Coming from different backgrounds and cultures, each member is, in fact, a multi-instrumentalist, and their performances reflect their various cultural influences.  Inspired by the Julliard String Quartet, American bassist Tom McKenzie, created the group.
