Charlie Dalin - Percussionist and Back Up Singer
IRé is into world music and her compositions are inspired by modern world music as well as by African, Brazilian, Indian, Oriental and Flamenco. She has also been influenced by Jazz,Pop, Folk and Soul. Most of her texts are in English, French and her own imaginary language and speak of tolerance between people, the longing for home and the search for identity. Her songs also tell stories of love and the passion and folly of youth.
IRé met Charlie Dalin, a multi talented French percussionist here in Paris and since 2007 they have done arrangements and recorded together.
