Galerie Martine Moisan (Art Gallery)
Martine, the founder. has a degree from l’Ecole nationale supérieure des Arts décoratifs and a Mastesr in Plastic Arts. She established her art gallery in 1990 and displays painters such as Christian Benoist, Jean Pierre Delisse, Claire Monnet, Caroline Tresca, … and sculptors such as Hélène Jousse, Françoise Mayeras. She also organizes "one day exhibits" on Mondays, to promote young talents (painters, sculptors, photographers, designers …)
On Saturday mornings hroughout the year, Martine gives drawing classes to children and adults to discover the unusual sides of Paris:cafés, gardens, and museums, while using … coffee, syrups or chocolate as watercolors. She then exhibits the drawings in her Gallery. During the summer, she gives day trip classes around Paris or drawing bridges, streets, architecture and markets. By night, by moonlight, her groupuses head lamps to draw the shadows and the lights of Paris. (4 to 8 people maximum – price : 25EUROS per person. Age range:10 - 90). Take the exit rue de la Mairie de 2eme (Town Hall of the 2nd arrondisement) and you are at Place de la Bourse and the Bourse building. With your back towards the Bourse building, immediately to the left is the beginning of rue de la Banque. It's a 5 minute walk to number 5 rue de la Banque.
