Pandora Morcas, is a British Singer/Songwriter and poliglot of varied origins (English, French, Egyptian, Irish) with a jazzy folk pop style.
Pandora built her career singing and sometimes accompanying on guitar and piano in Paris, London, Athens, and the South of France. She recently composed, recorded and co-produced an album of 18 songs called "With Dignity". The focus of these songs is Ecology. They are songs of our time.

Patricia Myers will speak on "Celebrating Four Great Ladies of Jazz," telling intriguing anecdotes from her research and/or interviews of Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. The humorous and touching stories show how the singers overcame adversity, turning trials into triumphs.
For example: how 15-year-old Billie Holiday got her first singing job; the real story behind "A- Tisket A-Tasket"; and how many times Sarah had to win amateur competitions before she was hired for her first gig. The stories will be accompanied by excerpted CD music by the four.

Paul Cezanne was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th century conception of art to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. Cézanne can be said to form the bridge between late 19th century Impressionism and the early 20th century's Cubism. A line attributed to both Matisse and Picasso: Cézanne "is the father of us all."
