They have been used throughout the ages as a way of creating healing energy and inner peace. They are used to understand out life experiences and ourselves: a way of celebrating your life.

"Ever since I was a child, my dream was to wake up each morning and spend the day being creative. Then to share these creations in a way that would bring joy to others, and inspire them to create something themselves. You might call it a version of “pay it forward.”
Over the years I have been an award-winning artist, a clothes and jewelry designer, and currently creating paper art in the form of handmade journals. Writing is always a part of my creative process. As my life changes, I discover new ways to express myself creatively and believe to be a kind of centering, healing process for me. So when I witnessed Tibetan monks creating mandalas (an ancient art form) I was intrigued. After researching and studying this art form, I began to experiment on creating one for myself. I thought about creating personalized healing mandalas as a business, but that did not feel right to me. So in the spirit of my childhood dream, it occurred to me that I could teach others to create their own, something they would benefit from far more than me doing it for them." Companies: Usually I ask the manager how much turnover he expects after the training. We discuss the possibilities to get it. Then, I present a plan, saying that the budget must be “covered” at least 3 times by the new margin. It works. Recently, I had to make 10% more turnover in two months. We had 15% more in one month.
Individuals: I ask: how much you want to earn with your activity. And we discuss the steps to get there, and how we can make it, taking into account their personality, customers, competitors and services. And this works too, mostly because people feel that I really back them up. They feel that I want them to succeed. It doesn't matter who you are or of what origin you are. You're either French (in your head and behavior), or not. When I began to see that, I began to identify myself as an expat. The sum of being an American who lives in Paris, an African-American trying to find roots here, minus not being French - but seeing life internationally - on a large scale and permanently, equals my personal experience of being an expat."
